July 16,2002 - We got a positive blood test. LMP 6/18/02.
August 6,2002 - We had our first sonogram. We saw the baby and heard the heartbeat, which was 137bpm
August 26,2002 - Rented a heart beat monitor. We heard the heart beat right away. What a joy and since of peace to have this unit.
August 29,2002 - First OB appointment. My doctors are Dr. Wagner & Dr. Gaer in York. My weight gain was 5 pounds at this appointment. My uterus measure 1 month ahead by size. I am huge. Maybe it is the diabetes. I heard the heart beat. It was at 178bpm.
September 9,2002 - 12 Weeks, YEAH! The bad news is I found out that I have Gestational Diabetes. I went to diabetes counciling, which was great. At first I was devestated to think I could not eat sweets at all but I am sure I will get use to it. I test my blood sugars every day before a meal and 2 hours later.
